Brooke Bushey Wild Briar Blooms Flower Farm Florist

Meet the Owner

Wild Briar Blooms began as a dream to cultivate a lifestyle that allowed me to be present in raising my children. After leaving the education field and having children of my own, I felt a strong pull toward something more creative, something that would allow me to express myself while staying connected to my roots at home. This journey led me to the flower field, where I began growing specialty cut flowers.

It was in those early mornings and long days of tending to each bloom that my love for floristry truly blossomed. The creative freedom I discovered within floral design captivated me, and I immersed myself in learning everything I could about flowers—from the seed to their final stage in beautifully curated arrangements. This deep connection to the entire life cycle of flowers has enriched my designs, bringing an authentic touch to every piece I create.

What I find most fulfilling is the joy of sharing these flowers with our community and helping to bring floral visions to life. Whether it’s a small bouquet for a local farmer’s market or an intricate wedding arrangement, I am dedicated to creating something that resonates with the heart and spirit of those I serve.

Outside of the flower world, I also have a deep passion for dance. I’ve been dancing for over 30 years and now have the privilege of teaching at the same studio where I grew up dancing. It’s a special joy to see my daughter following in my footsteps as she begins her own journey in dance. Sharing this common interest with her adds another layer of meaning and connection to my life.
